Peconic Pathfinders | Run-Walk-Hike | Paumanok Path www.peconicpathfinders.org Peconic Pathfinders was formed to find the hidden and lost trails, clean them up, maintain them and guide hikers and runners. We take a strong environmental stance and support local and global environmental groups.
Anyone can hike or run with us for free at every hike, run or activity but you will have to sign a waiver.
Some special events, such as running event, would require a fee as we put on events for fundraisers.
Membership has its benefits. Yearly membership will be from now till the end of 2025.
Membership will give you a voice. We need leaders! We will schedule an organizational meeting in January to start off the new year.
Membership is free! Optional Donation $10Membership is free, but a donation would help pay our expences.
Membership will put you on our e mail list so we can keep you informed on hikes and runs and special events.
Members can sign up for committees and can chair committees.
We need to know if you are a runner or a hiker and if you would like to be on one or more of our committees.
Committees will be formed for different tasks.
Kick off meeting, Saturday Hikes, easy 2mile hike and trail Maintenance demonstration.
Our kickoff hikes are short to begin with so that new hikers can join us. The Trail Center Hike is the perfect hike for beginners.
We will be adding longer hikes on Sundays and "Hike into Running" Days.

As hikers and runners we are concerned about our environment. We drink the water, we breath the air, we enjoy the nature around us.
We are proposing a Running Race Series (Hikers Welcome) to benefit non profits that work with the environment on Long Island. Contact us for more information.
